The Cardiovascular Muscle
Cardiac muscle (heart muscle) is involuntary striated muscle that is found in the walls and histological foundation of the heart, specifically the myocardium. Cardiac muscle is one of three major types of muscle, the others being skeletal and smooth muscle. To be healthy, you should at least work out your heart 30 minutes. It is really important to work out your heart because it lowers your risk of getting a heart disease. There are many ways to workout your cardio muscle.
Some ways that you can work out your cardio muscle is by running a few miles. That should keep your heart rate going. Also maybe doing some sports. For example, playing basketball like an actual basketball game not just standing there and shooting is a good workout for your heart muscle. Another good workout for your cardio is playing soccer, a soccer game. If you’re only shooting while your friend or teammate is being goalie, that is not a good workout.
Living a healthy life is really easy. All you have to do is watch your diet. As in, see if you have enough nutrients. You may want follow the Food Pyramid, that is a lot of help. You can also exercise daily for just about 1 hour maybe, that’ll be good enough. In my physical education class to workout our heart, we sometimes run a mile around our high school block but we also play basketball. I, myself, play basketball during my PE class. During my summer vacation, to workout my cardio muscle I’ll maybe take a swim in the pool where my family & I always go. And maybe to also lose some weight for my 15, I’ll be going to the gym if I have time. But the main one that I’ll do is running around chasing my little nephews and nieces.
